UBS analysts said in a report that there is still room for upward revision to ASML's capacity forecasts for chipmaking equipment in the coming years. ASML said in July that it plans to increase production of deep ultraviolet (DUV) and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines by 30% in 2027, and by another 30% in 2028. The analysts said that to meet strong demand for AI chips, ASML may adjust the above capacity growth targets to above 30%. They also expect that ASML may provide guidance for revenue growth of more than 30% year over year in 2027.
