Seven departments: Enhance the quality and level of trade and investment cooperation.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments jointly issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the New-Type Battery Industry." The Plan proposes guiding enterprises to "go global" in an orderly manner. It calls for strengthening analysis and assessment of global new energy market demand and the geopolitical environment. It advocates coordinating the use of both domestic and international markets and resources, and guiding enterprises to conduct outbound investment in a diversified and orderly manner. It also calls for improving risk prevention and emergency response mechanisms and strengthening security safeguards for enterprises expanding overseas. The Plan aims to create a highland for open cooperation. It calls for strengthening efficient interaction with international economic and trade organizations, industry associations and chambers of commerce, and professional investment institutions, and for conducting regular cooperation and matchmaking. It advocates building an internationally influential platform for cooperation in the new-type battery industry and technology, and enhancing the global adaptability of enterprises' product systems to meet the application needs of diverse international markets. It also calls for improving the comprehensive overseas service system, advancing international bilateral and multilateral mutual recognition cooperation, and reducing technical barriers to trade.
