Yangtze River Delta Railway plans to add 144 trains today; multiple places in Anhui launch high-speed rail service to Beijing for the first time.

On September 28, the reporter learned from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from September 25 to 27, railways in the Yangtze River Delta sent 10.26 million passengers, with an average of 3.42 million passengers per day, a year-on-year increase of 61%. On September 28, the first day after the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, railways in the Yangtze River Delta are expected to send 2.96 million passengers, with plans to add 144 passenger trains, organize 262 EMU trains to operate in coupled formation, and attach 98 additional cars to conventional-speed trains to meet passenger travel demand.
