According to the latest Omdia research, the global connected vehicle parc is expected to exceed 1.05 billion units, more than doubling from 473.7 million in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 8.3%. As the market continues to expand, the next phase of connected vehicle development will focus more on stricter service level agreements, over-the-air update plans, and service-oriented architectures that can bring recurring revenue opportunities.
