Afghanistan's Ministry of Defense says it killed 28 terrorists.

The Afghan Ministry of Defense stated in a declaration on the 27th that Afghan security forces carried out an operation in the eastern province of Nuristan, killing at least 28 terrorists, including members of "Islamic State", and arresting 32 people. The declaration said that these individuals had previously received short-term military training abroad, and then entered Nuristan Province in an attempt to disrupt the local security situation. During this operation, multiple people fled Afghanistan.
