Hutuo River Water Supply Project Officially Begins Supplying Water to Taiyuan, Annual Water Diversion Capacity Reaches 30 Million Cubic Meters

According to Shanxi Daily, as clear water flows steadily into the Shangyuan Surface Water Plant of Taiyuan Water Supply Group Co., Ltd., the Hutuo River Water Supply Project, an important component of the second horizontal line of Shanxi's modern water network "Three Vertical and Nine Horizontal" system, has officially begun supplying water to Taiyuan. As a key water network project built by Wanjiazhai Water Holding Group Co., Ltd., the Hutuo River Water Supply Project consists of two parts: the Qingshui River water source project and the water supply project. The water supply line has a total length of approximately 82 kilometers, spanning Wutai County, Dingxiang County, and Xinfu District in Xinzhou City, as well as Yangqu County in Taiyuan City. The project takes the water collection gallery at the Qingshui River water source in Wutai County as its intake starting point, and passes through three booster stationsLijiazhuang Pumping Station, Zhijun Pumping Station, and Shangzuo Pumping Stationfor three-stage pressurized lifting, with a cumulative total head of 468 meters. It ultimately delivers water to the Shangyuan Surface Water Plant in Yangqu County at the terminal end, with an annual water diversion capacity of up to 30 million cubic meters.
