Affected by weather, some sections of the Xinjiang Duku Highway are under temporary traffic control.

The reporter learned from the Emergency Command and Networked Toll Center of the Transport Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region that on September 25, 2026, due to weather conditions, the Hashilegen Pass in the Wusu section of the Duku Highway still had snowfall, and some sections experienced dense fog with low visibility, temporarily lacking safe passage conditions. The highway department is carrying out snow and ice removal operations, and the Wusu traffic control department has imposed temporary two-way traffic control on the section of G217 from Wusu Yi to Qiao'erma. Once the ice and snow on the road surface melt and safe passage conditions are met, the traffic control will be lifted immediately.
