Citi: Goertek and Sunny Optical will benefit from Meta VR glasses

Citi said that among the VR glasses and other new products unveiled at the Meta Connect conference, Goertek and Sunny Optical are the main beneficiary manufacturers. Analysts including Kyna Wong wrote in a research note that given the higher pricing, shipments of the new Meta VR glasses are likely to be limited. Goertek will continue to increase its share in Meta's AI glasses business, while the new VR glasses are expected to offset the impact of the decline in the traditional VR headset business. Sunny Optical will benefit from both AI glasses and the new VR glasses. When Meta launches the Ray-Ban Display 2 in early next year, Sunny Optical, Conant Optical, and OmniVision Technologies will gain greater business increment.
