Zhitong Finance APP has learned that, according to reports, KKR, Energy Capital Partners, and Blackstone are seeking to jointly bid for environmental services company GFL Environmental (GFL.US), while Brookfield Asset Management and IFM Investors have teamed up to launch a competing bid. The news drove GFL Environmental's stock price up more than 10% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, U.S. Eastern Time.
