Hong Kong has released its first five-year plan. Liao Yijian, Co-Chief Executive of HSBC Asia and the Middle East, said the measures in the plan to support the development of the gold market are encouraging, and Hong Kong has the conditions to become a regional gold clearing hub and an important gateway for introducing global investors.
