White House National Economic Council director says he and Trump will respect Warsh's decision tomorrow.

White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said that he and U.S. President Trump "respect whatever Warsh decides to do tomorrow." Hassett was previously asked whether a rate hike by Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh would be a mistake. In an interview, Hassett said: "We have great respect for Kevin Warsh. The president and I have known him for many years." Hassett laid out the reasons why the Fed should not raise rates, but also said that "we" respect the decision the Fed will make.
