Former Novartis China President Zhang Ying joins Legend Biotech as Chief Executive Officer.

On September 15, CAR-T cell company Legend Biotech announced that its board of directors has appointed Zhang Ying as chief executive officer, effective September 15, 2026. Prior to joining Legend Biotech, Zhang Ying served as chief commercial officer of Novartis International. During her tenure at Novartis, she also served as president of Novartis Innovative Medicines China and president of Novartis China.
