According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on September 15, in August, commercial vehicle production and sales reached 315,000 and 328,000 units, respectively. Production fell 3.8% month-on-month, sales rose 3.6% month-on-month, production edged down 0.1% year-on-year, and sales rose 3.8% year-on-year. Among the main categories of commercial vehicles, compared with the previous month, production of buses and trucks declined slightly, while sales grew to varying degrees; compared with the same period last year, bus production and sales grew to varying degrees, while truck production declined slightly and sales rose slightly.
