Guangzhou: Vigorously develop the cruise and yacht industry, and innovate the supply of yacht tourism products.

The General Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government has issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Guangzhou's Marine Economy," proposing to vigorously develop the cruise and yacht industry. It calls for increasing multi-homeport route operations and expanding "multi-stop" international premium routes. It also proposes improving the commercial supporting facilities along the Nansha waterfront, linking resources such as the Tianhou Palace and Puzhou Fort to enhance the "cruise + city" consumption model. The plan promotes the construction of yacht marinas at the International Financial City, the Medicine Port, and Guangzhou Window. It calls for improving yacht port clearance and safety management systems, exploring the implementation of joint boarding inspections, and optimizing yacht entry-exit inspection procedures. It supports the construction of comprehensive yacht service centers in Nansha, Panyu, Huangpu, and other districts to provide convenient government services for yachts. It also calls for developing consumption scenarios such as city sightseeing, maritime leisure, and business reception, optimizing construction and maintenance as well as trading and leasing services, and innovating the supply of yacht tourism products.
