Cyberspace Administration of China: Announcement on the Release of Filing Information for Generative AI Services

To promote the innovative development and standardized application of generative artificial intelligence services, the cyberspace administration authorities, together with relevant departments, have continued to carry out the filing work for generative artificial intelligence services in accordance with the requirements of the Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services. From July to August 2026, an additional 124 generative artificial intelligence services completed filing with the Cyberspace Administration of China, including 7 that provide generative artificial intelligence services on mobile device side. For generative artificial intelligence applications or functions that directly call the capabilities of already-filed models through API interfaces or other means, local cyberspace administration authorities carried out registration, with an additional 133 completing registration. As of August 31, a total of 1,112 generative artificial intelligence services have completed filing, and 731 generative artificial intelligence applications or functions have completed registration.
