A-share Market Close Review: ChiNext Index swings lower, down 1.1%; lab-grown diamond, innovative drug, and MLCC concept sectors lead gains.
The three major A-share indices fell collectively today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.07%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.64%, the ChiNext Index declined 1.1%, the Beijing 50 fell 0.15%, and the STAR 50 Index dropped 1.62%. Total market turnover reached 1.643 trillion yuan, a shrinkage of 344 billion yuan from the previous day, with more than 3,100 individual stocks rising across the market. In terms of sectors and themes, cultivated diamonds, medical services, CRO concept, MLCC concept, and complete automobile vehicles led the gains; military equipment restructuring concept, planting and forestry, military equipment, grain concept, and agricultural product processing led the declines. On the trading floor, the cultivated diamond sector remained strong throughout the day, with Hangsheng Energy and Huanghe Whirlwind hitting the daily limit up, while Inno Laser, Huifeng Diamond, Power Diamond, and Henglin Home Furnishing led the gains. The innovative drug sector opened low and moved higher, with Wanbang Pharmaceutical and Sanli Pharmaceutical hitting the daily limit up, while Baipu Saisi, InnoCare Pharma, and PharmaBlock led the gains. The MLCC concept sector showed active performance, with Shuangxing New Material and Kangda New Material hitting the daily limit up, while Yunjia Technology, Chunguang Group, and Lihexing led the gains. The military equipment restructuring concept sector showed sluggish performance, with Construction Industry, Great Wall Military Industry, and Hunan Tianyan leading the declines. The planting and forestry sector fluctuated downward, with Dunhuang Seed, Xinnong Development, and Yasheng Group hitting the daily limit down, while Hainan Rubber, Suken Agricultural Development, and Shennong Seed led the declines.
