September 14: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products 200" rose 0.04 points compared with last Friday.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products 200" stood at 117.25 on September 14, up 0.04 points from last Friday, while the "Vegetable Basket" Product Wholesale Price Index came in at 118.07, up 0.02 points from last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork at wholesale markets for agricultural products nationwide was 16.42 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from last Friday; beef was 70.65 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from last Friday; mutton was 65.91 yuan/kg, unchanged from last Friday; eggs were 11.06 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from last Friday; and dressed chicken was 17.35 yuan/kg, up 2.3% from last Friday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 4.68 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from last Friday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruit varieties was 6.64 yuan/kg, up 1.4% from last Friday. Crucian carp was 20.09 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from last Friday; common carp was 14.08 yuan/kg, up 2.3% from last Friday; silver carp was 10.30 yuan/kg, up 1.5% from last Friday; and large hairtail was 41.66 yuan/kg, up 3.1% from last Friday. Today, among the 46 varieties under key monitoring at wholesale markets for fresh and live agricultural products nationwide, the top five price gainers compared with last Friday were garlic, pineapple, large hairtail, tomatoes, and dressed chicken, with increases of 3.7%, 3.6%, 3.1%, 2.3%, and 2.3%, respectively; the top five price decliners were cauliflower, rapeseed greens, Chinese cabbage, watermelon, and lettuce, with decreases of 3.3%, 3.2%, 3.2%, 3.0%, and 2.7%, respectively.
