Eight departments: Expand the supply of high-quality smart home products

The Ministry of Commerce and seven other departments issued a notice on the Action Plan for Promoting Smart Home Consumption, which mentioned: in conjunction with advancing the cultivation and opening up of digital home full-industry-chain scenarios, encourage manufacturers to strengthen research and development of smart home products, and support home furnishing stores, shopping malls, and others in establishing smart home experience centers, whole-home smart and digital home model rooms. Accelerate the cultivation of a group of large home renovation enterprises and platforms that operate with integrity and provide standardized services, launch personalized and diversified renovation packages, and vigorously develop customized, made-to-order, and appointment-based services. Accelerate the creation of a batch of smart home software and hardware products and integrated solutions based on domestic open-source operating systems.
