Novo Nordisk plans to change its name and will remove the word "Nordisk".

It is reported that Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk will undergo a brand overhaul and has officially confirmed that it will change its company name to "Novo," dropping the word "Nordisk," while also upgrading its company logo and brand slogan. The report said the relevant changes will be officially announced this week, before its Capital Markets Day on September 21.
