According to Reuters, trade sources say that India's soybean oil imports in August are expected to surge to a record 620,000 tons. India has contracted to import 1.4 million tons of soybean oil for shipments from September to December. Due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, around 150,000 tons of sunflower oil shipments to India have been delayed.
