Fortune Construction (01582.HK) subsidiary wins the bidding for the Tung Chung public housing project in Hong Kong, with a contract amount of approximately HK$2.5 billion.

Zhitung Finance APP reported that Huaying Construction (01582.HK) has announced that its indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Huaying Construction Limited, has signed a letter of award for the main construction contract of the public housing development project in Tung Chung, New Territories East, awarded by the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The contract amount is approximately HKD 2.5 billion, under which the group will act as the main contractor for the building construction project. It is currently expected that the aforementioned project will commence in early October 2026.
