On August 17, Wang Guanhua, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics and deputy director of the Comprehensive Statistics Division of the National Economy, stated at a news conference held by the State Council Information Office that whether prices can reasonably rebound mainly depends on domestic demand and supply-demand relationships. The Central Political Bureau meeting emphasized the need to "optimize the implementation of financial and fiscal policies to promote domestic demand" and "adapt quality supply to meet the consumption needs of different groups, while tapping into the potential of service consumption." Various regions and departments are working to implement these policies, and in the next stage, all measures to expand domestic demand and promote consumption will be gradually put into effect. The potential for service consumption is continuously being released, new products are rapidly iterating, and new consumption demands are being stimulated. In the second half of the year, China is expected to maintain a moderate upward trend in prices.
