On August 17, reporters learned from the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station that, with the approval of the Exit and Entry Administration of the People's Republic of China, the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station and the Macao Public Security Police Force have agreed to officially implement three facilitation measures of the optimized "cooperative inspection, one-time release" inspection model at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hengqin, and Qingmao cooperative inspection ports starting from 00:00 on August 18, 2026. These measures include the optimization of the document inspection method for Hong Kong and Macao residents, the establishment of a cooperative expedited channel, and the expansion of the scope of personnel allowed to use the "joint one-stop" lane, aiming to further enhance the passenger experience during customs clearance and promote convenient people-to-people exchanges in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
