The demand for AI financing is continuously rising, and Alphabet is considering its first issuance of Australian dollar bonds.
As American tech giants compete to raise funds for artificial intelligence investments, Google's parent company Alphabet has hired banks to prepare for its inaugural issuance of Australian dollar bonds. One of the underwriters, ANZ Bank, stated in an email that Alphabet may issue bonds with four different maturities, with the longest reaching 20 years. Earlier this month, Alphabet issued $25 billion in bonds in the dollar market and has also issued bonds in Swiss francs, British pounds, euros, Canadian dollars, and Japanese yen for 2026. The company recently raised nearly $85 billion through equity financing.
