Market data on Sunday showed that as the South Korean stock market rebounded from a deep low, domestic investors once again raised significant capital to buy local stocks. According to statistics from the Korea Financial Investment Association, as of Thursday, the balance of margin trading used for stock purchases reached 30.93 trillion won, up from 27.44 trillion won on August 3. This increase in financing comes as major market stocks such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have significantly recovered from volatility triggered by concerns over profits related to AI investments. Analysts believe that given the alleviation of concerns related to AI investments, there are no immediate signs of cooling in the South Korean stock market, and the financing scale may continue to rise for some time, potentially reaching new highs.
