Zambia Restores Election Vote Counting

The Zambian Electoral Commission announced around 6 PM on the 14th that it has lifted the previous suspension of vote counting in the general elections. At a press conference held in the capital, Lusaka, the Electoral Commission stated that it made the decision to lift the suspension following consultations with security agencies. Currently, the security situation has been brought under control, and relevant departments have taken necessary measures to ensure the safety of election personnel and ballots.
