There are significant changes to the housing provident fund in Guangzhou, Suzhou, and Yangzhou.
According to CCTV Finance, this year, many regions have significantly lowered the threshold for using housing provident funds, and the scope of use has continued to expand. Guangzhou's new housing fund policy has comprehensively raised the loan limits for housing provident funds, accurately supporting families with children. Various conditions for increased limits can also be combined for calculation. For instance, newly married couples having one child can enjoy a 10% increase in their housing loan limit; families with a second or third child or more can see an increase of 40%-50%. Since June, Suzhou, Jiangsu, has implemented a new round of provident fund policies, raising the maximum loan limits for individuals and families, allowing for increased loan limits across multiple scenarios, and enabling the use of these funds to pay for property transaction taxes. Currently, the positive effects of the new policy on housing consumption are also becoming apparent. Starting from July 15 this year, Yangzhou, Jiangsu has upgraded its housing provident fund policy, allowing citizens who contribute to the housing provident fund to withdraw their funds to pay for property fees through mobile operations without leaving their homes.
