The data shows that in the second quarter of 2026, the shipment volume in the Chinese tablet market reached 7.96 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4%, with the decline narrowing slightly compared to the first quarter. However, from the perspective of market performance, the pressure on the market has not eased; instead, it has further intensified. The significant growth in the commercial market mainly stems from demand being pulled forward in anticipation of price increases, while the consumer market saw a year-on-year decline of 9.8% due to rising costs and the impact of demand being released early. On the surface, the decline in the market has narrowed, but in reality, the rising costs are accelerating the transmission to the demand side.
