A source from the Tamil Nadu government in India stated on Thursday that the state is set to sign agreements worth approximately 150.5 billion for more than ten new projects with overseas companies, as part of a broader initiative involving nearly 100 agreements. The state government announced in a newspaper advertisement that it will sign 97 agreements totaling 674.52 billion, which is expected to generate over 100,000 jobs. The source mentioned that this total includes investments from Indian enterprises and the expansion of existing facilities. The source also noted that the new projects include an investment of around 5 billion from the American server manufacturer Supermicro and an investment of 20 billion from the France-based construction group Saint-Gobain.
