Apple appoints a former American Airlines executive as the head of government affairs.

On August 13, it was reported that Apple has hired Nate Gatten, the former head of government affairs at American Airlines Group, as the companys vice president of government affairs, with an official start date of August 31. Current head of government affairs, Nick Aman, among others, will be reporting to Gatten.
