Hong Kong Property: In the first seven months of this year, there were 12,348 registrations of second-hand residential properties in Hong Kong valued between 5 million and 10 million Hong Kong dollars, an increase of nearly 50% year-on-year.
According to the Hong Kong Property Research Department's information, Director Wang Pindi stated that data from the Hong Kong Property Information Research Department compiled with the Land Registry shows that in the first seven months of this year, there were 35,471 registrations of second-hand residential properties (including second-hand private housing and second-hand public housing), an increase of approximately 38.5% compared to 25,615 during the same period last year. Among these, there were 12,348 registrations of second-hand residential properties priced between 5 million and 10 million Hong Kong dollars in the first seven months of this year, representing an increase of about 48.4% from the 8,319 during the same period last year, outperforming the market and reaching a four-year high for the same period.
