Zhitong Finance APP reported that Shiyao Innovation (300765.SZ) announced that on July 1, 2026, its controlling subsidiary, Jushi Biotech, signed a "Cooperation, Option and Authorization Agreement" with AstraZeneca to engage in strategic cooperation in the field of novel small interfering RNA candidate drugs, focusing on the development of new hepatic delivery small interfering molecular RNA candidate drugs. According to the agreement, Jushi Biotech received a $30 million initial payment from AstraZeneca on August 12, 2026 (the actual amount received will be net of bank fees).
