On August 12, Tencent Holdings disclosed in its financial report that in the second quarter of 2026, the combined monthly active accounts for WeChat and WeChat reached 1.439 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.5%; the monthly active accounts for QQ on mobile terminals were 520 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.8%. The number of paid value-added service subscribers remained stable at 259 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2% and a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 3%.
