Guangdong: In the first seven months of this year, foreign trade import and export reached 6.49 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%.

According to the Guangdong Provincial Government's official website, statistics from the Guangdong branch of the General Administration of Customs show that in the first seven months of this year, Guangdong's foreign trade imports and exports reached 6.49 trillion yuan, an increase of 20.5% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 21.6% of the national total import and export value, and contributing 24.9% to the nationwide growth in exports and imports, with its scale continuing to rank first in the country. Among them, exports were 3.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.8%; imports were 2.69 trillion yuan, an increase of 37.4%; and the trade surplus was 1.11 trillion yuan, narrowing by 24.5%. Looking at the monthly data, from January to July this year, the scale of imports and exports has maintained double-digit growth. In July alone, Guangdong's imports and exports reached 1.01 trillion yuan, an increase of 19%, following the historic milestone of surpassing 1 trillion yuan in June, and maintaining a scale of over 1 trillion yuan. Among them, exports were 582.48 billion yuan, an increase of 7%; imports were 423.46 billion yuan, an increase of 40.7%.
