Hohhot has clarified the next development path: promote the integration of computing power and lexical economy, and undertake cross-regional computing power demands focused on major domestic economic areas; leverage the advantages of the free trade zone to explore pathways for computing power to go abroad; fill the gaps in upstream manufacturing of servers and liquid cooling equipment, and build five downstream computing power industry bases; continuously improve the three networks of computing power, electricity, and communication, and create a distinctive base for computing and electricity collaboration. On August 12, the press conference for the 2026 Green Computing Power Conference was held in Hohhot. It is reported that the 2026 Green Computing Power Conference will be held on August 22 in Hohhot, with the theme of "Building the Path of Computing and Electricity Collaboration Together, Discussing a New Situation of Lexical Economy Together, and Co-creating the Future of Artificial Intelligence." Representatives from ministries and commissions, academicians, leading companies in the industrial chain, and research institutions will be invited to participate, showcasing the achievements of the integrated computing power network's hub node construction in Inner Mongolia, focusing on three major directions: computing and electricity collaboration, AI empowerment, and the outbound lexical economy, to unleash the momentum for regional digital economic development.
