Many areas in Sichuan have issued red and orange high temperature alerts.

As of 12:00 PM on August 12, high temperature orange alerts have been successively issued in areas such as Suining, Deyang, Nanchong, Mianyang, and Guangyuan, with maximum temperatures rising above 35C. In certain districts and counties of Leshan, Mianyang, and Deyang, the warning level has been updated to high temperature red alerts, with maximum temperatures expected to exceed 37C.
