Meituan's Wang Puzhong: Not opening offline pharmacies, firmly sticking to being an AI transformation helper for pharmaceutical businesses.

On August 12, Wang Puzhong, CEO of Meituan's core local business, pointed out in a speech at the West Expo Conference that the transformation of enterprise AI is a systematic project involving business design, organizational change, and technology application. Meituan aims to be an AI assistant for industry partners, opening up its AI business expertise, CatPaw capabilities, and workflow transformation methodologies to the pharmaceutical industry. Wang Puzhong revealed that Meituan's first batch of AI business experts has already been implemented in companies like Shuyupingmin and Kefus, and it is officially open to the industry; moreover, its all-scenario AI Agent platform, CatPaw, will also initiate a pilot program for pharmaceutical merchants. Based on an ecosystem of partnerships with 250,000 pharmacies and nearly 500 pharmaceutical companies, Meituan is building a new infrastructure for the era of AI in pharmaceutical retail.
