Japanese autonomous driving startup Turing plans to establish a U.S. office with a target IPO valuation of $10 billion.

The CEO of the Japanese autonomous driving startup Turing has stated that the company is seeking to enter the U.S. market and may go public in the United States within the next five years, at which point the companys valuation is expected to reach approximately $10 billion. Issei Yamamoto, the CEO of Turing, mentioned that the Tokyo-based company plans to establish a U.S. office within the next year, initially focusing on data collection and R&D. Issei Yamamoto emphasized that the U.S. is the next major target market for the company after Japan, noting that Japanese automakers hold a significant share in the U.S. market. Turing has formed joint research partnerships for autonomous driving with automaker Subaru and auto parts supplier Denso, both of which have operations in the U.S. and other overseas markets. Denso is also an investor in Turing.
