On August 11, the Hepo Street Office in Jiexi County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, issued a public statement regarding a sudden incident where individuals jumped from a bridge at approximately 4:00 PM on August 11, 2026, in the Hepo Street area of Jiexi County. After receiving the report, local emergency rescue teams were immediately organized to rush to the scene for rescue operations. Currently, the bodies of two individuals involved in the drowning have been recovered from the water, showing no signs of life.
