In the second quarter of this year, the Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves held in the form of U.S. stocks grew by over 10%, reaching a record high. According to the so-called 13F report submitted by the Swiss National Bank to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, as of June 30, the bank's holdings in more than 2,300 publicly traded companies in the United States were valued at $191.4 billion. Slightly more than a quarter of the Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves are held in stocks, with part of the investment in U.S.-listed stocks. The top three holdings are Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft. The central bank also holds shares in defense software company Palantir Technologies Inc. valued at $716.6 million.
