The Swiss National Bank's holdings in U.S. stocks have reached a record high, with the top three holdings being Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft.

In the second quarter of this year, the Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves held in the form of U.S. stocks grew by more than 10%, reaching a historic high. According to the 13F filing submitted by the Swiss National Bank to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which was released on Tuesday, as of June 30, the bank's holdings in more than 2,300 publicly traded companies in the U.S. were valued at $191.4 billion. Slightly over a quarter of the Swiss National Bank's foreign exchange reserves are held in stocks, a portion of which is invested in U.S.-listed stocks. The top three holdings are Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft. The central bank also owns shares worth $716.6 million in the defense software company Palantir Technologies Inc.
