Hong Kong's primary residential property sales in the first seven months reached 12,300 transactions, setting a seven-year high, with leftover units accounting for 60% of the sales revenue.
According to the Zhang Tikong Finance APP, based on data from the Hong Kong Property Research Department and the "First-Hand Residential Property Sales Information Network," from January to July this year, the cumulative transactions of first-hand residential properties in Hong Kong reached 12,347, an increase of 9.3% year-on-year, setting the highest record for the same period in nearly seven years. The total transaction amount exceeded HK$155.67 billion, a surge of over 50% compared to the same period last year, marking a new all-time high since the first-hand sales regulations were implemented.
