August 11: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" has increased by 0.09 points compared to yesterday.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on August 11, the "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products" was 114.27, an increase of 0.09 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for "basket" products was 114.55, up 0.10 points compared to yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 15.73 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; beef was 67.45 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; lamb was 64.74 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; eggs were 9.94 yuan/kg, down 0.1% from yesterday; and dressed chicken was 17.18 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.48 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 6.85 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday. The price of crucian carp was 20.29 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; carp was 14.33 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; white catfish was 10.45 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday; and large hairtail was 41.58 yuan/kg, down 1.4%. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday were watermelon, cucumber, lettuce, scallions, and eggplant, with increases of 3.8%, 2.6%, 1.7%, 1.5%, and 1.5%, respectively; the top five in terms of price decrease were giant peak grapes, asparagus lettuce, large hairtail, large yellow croaker, and lotus root, with decreases of 2.7%, 1.5%, 1.4%, 1.0%, and 0.7%, respectively.
