The National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have launched a Level Four emergency response for flood prevention in Beijing and Tianjin.
According to meteorological forecasts, in the next three days, due to the combined influence of Typhoon "White Dolphin" and cold air, there will be heavy rain or torrential rain in the southern part of Beijing, Tianjin, and other areas. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange rainstorm warning at 6 a.m. on August 11. In accordance with the "National Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan" and relevant regulations, the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Emergency Management have decided to initiate a Level 4 flood emergency response for Beijing and Tianjin at 9 a.m. on August 11.
