Beijing has launched a Level 2 flood emergency response across the city.

According to "Beijing Emergency," based on the forecast from the Municipal Meteorological Station, from the evening of August 11 to the daytime of August 13, most areas in Beijing will experience strong rainfall, with a cumulative rainfall of 100 millimeters over 6 hours and over 150 millimeters over 24 hours. Among these, seven districts including Tongzhou, Daxing, Fangshan, Mentougou, Jingkai, Huairou, and Fengtai could see cumulative rainfall exceeding 150 millimeters in 6 hours and 200 millimeters in 24 hours. At 9 AM on August 11, the Municipal Flood Control and Drought Relief Command launched a Level II emergency response for flood control, and the entire city quickly engaged in related flood prevention and response work.
