The total size of ETFs is approaching 5 trillion yuan.

Since the second half of this year, the total scale of ETFs has continued to grow. According to Wind data, as of August 10, the number of ETF shares has increased by 374.2 billion since the beginning of the second half, reaching 3.4 trillion shares; the total scale has increased by 253.4 billion yuan, reaching 4.99 trillion yuan, just a step away from 5 trillion yuan. The data shows that 48 new ETF products have been issued in the second half of the year, bringing the total to 1,629. Among them, the theme with the largest share increase is finance, with 31 funds tracking it; the index with the largest share increase is semiconductor materials and equipment; the index with the highest returns is gold stocks.
