The National Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has activated a Level 4 emergency response for flood prevention and typhoon preparedness in Shanghai and Jiangxi.

On August 9, the National Disaster Reduction Office and the Ministry of Emergency Management organized a joint consultation with departments such as the China Meteorological Administration, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport, as well as key provinces like Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui, to assess the development trend of Typhoon "Bailong" and to deploy prevention and response measures.
