According to the Zhichun Finance APP, the Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Paul Chan, stated in a blog on the 9th that approximately 1.75 million travelers participated in over 130 major events in the first half of this year, generating about HKD 5.8 billion in consumption for Hong Kong and contributing approximately HKD 3.3 billion in added value to the economy. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Hong Kong is set to host over 100 major events, which are expected to attract more than 1.85 million travelers.
