Zhitong Finance APP reported that WuXi AppTec (02359) announced that it has filed a lawsuit regarding the U.S. Department of Defense's (Defense Department) designation of the company on the Department's 1260H List (1260H designation). WuXi AppTec strongly opposes this erroneous 1260H designation and has taken legal action to protect the interests of the company, its shareholders, employees, partners, and customers. Following the company's lawsuit against the Defense Department on June 11, 2026, the company filed a preliminary injunction motion with the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (Court) on June 29, 2026, seeking to prohibit the Defense Department from enforcing, implementing the 1260H designation, or taking any other actions based on the 1260H designation. The Court held a hearing on this motion on July 22, 2026.
