Qingdao National Surveying and Mapping Ocean Remote Sensing: Next year, multiple satellites will be launched to provide independent data sources to support local algorithm iteration.

During a media research event organized by the Qingdao Municipal Cyberspace Administration, it was revealed that Qingdao Guoce Haiyao Information Technology Co., Ltd. plans to launch multiple satellites to establish a constellation, aiming to explore the development of an integrated time-space data platform covering data collection, automated processing, intelligent interpretation, and scene applications. Among these plans, three satellites are scheduled for launch in the first quarter of next year, with launch agreements already signed; one satellite intended for launch in June next year has already been fully assembled. QI Chunfeng, the general manager of Guoce Haiyao, introduced that the cost of launching a single satellite is several tens of millions of yuan, which can provide independent data sources and support local algorithm iterations. Established in 2016, Qingdao Guoce Haiyao focuses on commercial aerospace and satellite terminal application services. Within its planned "10+1" innovative industry system, the company is one of the key enterprises in the aerospace information track of Qingdao's new generation information technology industry chain.
